More than 80 years of experience in the sector
Molina is the European company specializing in the collection, classification and processing of cattle hide splits. We apply an innovative process and after different processes we deliver to different manufacturers of collagen casings, gelatin and protein.
1935
Andrés Molina Hernández begins the collection in tanneries in Valencia.
1955
Second generation with the incorporation of José Andrés Molina Riera.
1979
A tannery is acquired dedicated to the finishing of hide splits.
1991
New processing plant in Lorca.
1998
Extension of the refrigeration facilities (300 m2).
1999
Acquisition of 5 mixers.
2000
The third generation takes control and initiation of the international expansion.
2007
Extension of the refrigeration installation (600 m2).
2009
New facilities for trimming and classification.
2016
Obtaining the Halal Certificate.
2018
Obtaining the COMPLIANCE Certificate.

Collagen casings and protein
We obtained high quality collagen casings through the seams that come from bovine leather after a rigorous sanitary control.
The split is suitable to produce edible gelatin for human consumption and pharmaceutical industry and technical gelatin.

Our logistics system ensures a fast and fresh conservation of the product.

- 1,500 plastic boxes ensure a clean process throughout the plant.
